NOW..........

A typical Kentucky "snowstorm" -- This goes out to all of our Maine family and friends. After living in Maine and then heading South, this is what we now face when it snows. This was a snowfall we had in January. Within a couple of hours, it was almost gone. We miss playing outside in the snow, but do not miss driving in it.

......and Then

THEN

You see pictures of the event that usually took place after a snow storm in Maine. Kobe and Jordan helped to clear the snow from our vehicle so that we could continue our day.

A Reason to Smile

Jordan and Kobe were full of smiles, and even posed for a picture after having spent time earlier in the day chatting online with their Dad. For the 1st time since our move, they got to see each other on the webcam. The picture says it all!!!!!

Just Like Dad

Kobe hammers in a nail to hang up his bike
helmet in our attached shed. He loves to do
carpentry work and even has his own tools
and tool box. He loves to help and be the
leader. Before we know it, he'll graduate to
using power tools.

Snow Day in Kentucky

Finally the kids had a day to play in the snow. We got about 4 inches or so of snow yesterday and this morning. Nothing like the weather we had in Maine, but we finally had enough snow to go sledding. Jordan and Kobe went sledding with their cousin Andrea, and had a great time. Kobe loved flipping over as he got toward the bottom of the hill. He even did some snowboarding, and was able to balance very well going downhill. Jordan was able to pretend she was a penguin, and she did some "body-sledding". Despite her calm and quiet personality, she is actually quite a brave girl. It was a great day!!!
